Swaying Sweetgrass
A meadow, and almost nothing done to it. One path goes in, cut so that somebody using wheels can get to the middle, and at the middle there is a ring of stones with a fire in it and benches round the fire. That is the whole build. The rest is grass doing what grass does.
Job marker — a firefly
You have found a job marker. The Adventurer’s Guild is a shopfront on the street, and it posts jobs that send you round these rooms. Take the code below to its board and that job is done. Nothing here is scored, nothing expires, and one is a perfectly good number of jobs to do.
The job: The book this room will not serve
Before the code: The chapter readings in that room are doors rather than players. What is the book still in? One word.
Hint 1
The room says it in three words, near the readings.
Hint 2
It is the reason a library lends a book rather than giving it away.
Last hint
The author is living, publishing, and narrated the real audiobook herself.
Give me the answer
The answer is Copyright. Every one of those readings plays and every one embeds, so nothing in the machinery would have stopped them. What stops them is the room's own argument — the honorable harvest — which a page cannot make while serving somebody else's whole book off its own surface. They are doors with a borrow link beside them.
Taking the answer is a real way through this, not a lesser one. Nothing is watching and nothing is written down.
Quest code: FIREFLY
That is the one.
